BUK Delegation Visits Governor of Agadez Region in Niger Republic

A team of academic staff and postgraduate students from the Department of Geography, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), led by Professor Bello Gambo, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Agadez Region in Niger Republic, General Iboura Boulama, on Monday, June 19, 2024.

The visit was part of a field camp organized by the Department of Geography, which took place from June 8 to June 13, 2024. The team comprised 13 academic staff and 31 students.

 

During the visit, Governor Boulama expressed his delight and sought cooperation between BUK and the Agadez Region in areas such as education, exchange of knowledge, and collaboration. The visit was facilitated by the Centre for Development Assistance (CDA) and BUK.
