Covenant University’s CApIC-ACE, in collaboration with the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Centre (CApTC) and Beulah World Initiative, successfully hosted a Prostate Cancer Awareness and Free Screening event at the Ota Local Government Headquarters. The initiative aimed to provide free prostate health screenings and raise awareness about prostate cancer, particularly among men in the local community.

The event had a significant impact, with numerous men—fathers, husbands, uncles, and grandfathers—taking advantage of the free screenings to assess their prostate health status. Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to access this critical health service, which is often overlooked until advanced stages of the disease.
