In a strategic move to reinforce its vision of becoming a world-class institution, Elizade University has conducted an intensive in-house capacity-building session for its faculty members.

The training, organized as the university commences the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, aimed to equip academics with modern professional skills and strengthen research impact. 

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Philip Oguntunde, who recently assumed his substantive role in January 2026, delivered a charge to the faculty. He emphasized that research visibility and global rankings are central to the university's prestige. In light of rapid technological advancements like Artificial Intelligence (AI), he urged staff to stay ahead of the "information superhighway" to remain relevant in a competitive higher education landscape. 

Coordinated by the University Librarian, Ayoola Aregbesola, and facilitated by experts including Akinsanya Adebayo, the session highlighted several critical pillars:
