Exxcellingo Global Academy Visits FULokoja Vice Chancellor

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi received in audience the Management of Exxcellingo Global Academy, Coordinators and official managers of the Nigeria National Social Responsibility Intervention Project (NASORIP) which is currently being implemented across several institutions and communities in Nigeria.

Members of the team from NASORIP included Dr. Dominic Wilson, Project Development Executive; Mr. Seyi Olukayode, Corporate Logistic Officer; and Miss Bunmi Adeoye, Project Assistance Officer.

Since the commencement of the current phase of the project, the team has been responsible for the implementation of various developmental programmes in line with the NASORIP principles. More than 67 different institutions within several host communities including Abuja Police Command, Garrki, Area 11, Forces Head Quarters Luis Edet House Abuja, Federal Colleges of Education, Kogi State Polytechnic, Colleges of Education (Technical), Kogi State Police Command, host community of Reference Hospital, amongst others.

Through the judicious execution of the programmes by the team, thousands of families and communities have benefited from the project ranging from eye care, distribution of glasses, water development project, construction/rehabilitation of facilities, laboratory equipment, library furnishing, road construction, staff training/conferences amongst other essential services under the project. The current phase of the project is expected to be completed within four calendar years from the date of inauguration.

The current phase of the project with about 75% funding is based on partnership and corporate collaboration within both the federal and state-owned institutions and with a budgetary provision of 55% for institutions of learning across the federation.
