NAUB Releases Official Guidelines and Fee Structure for 2026 Third Semester Program

The Management of the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) has released the approved registration process and fee structure for the upcoming Third Semester academic activities specifically designed for spill-over students.

In a memorandum addressed to Deans and Heads of Departments (HODs), the University outlined a condensed three-week academic calendar and strict eligibility criteria aimed at helping spill-over students complete their graduation requirements.

The program is scheduled to commence in January 2026 following this timeline:

Registration Period: Monday, January 12 – Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Lecture Duration: Thursday, January 15 – Monday, January 26, 2026.

Examinations & Results: Tuesday, January 27 – Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Payments must be made into the designated NAUB account, with "3rd Semester" included in the payment description:

Main Registration Fee: ₦22,500 (Flat rate).

Course Registration Fee: ₦20,000 per course.

Note: Students are required to collect official receipts from the Bursary after payment.

Critical Guidelines for Students

The University underscored that the Third Semester is an intensive remedial window with specific limitations:

Eligibility: Strictly limited to spill-over students. "Dropped courses" are not eligible for registration.

Grading Cap: The maximum grade obtainable in this session is an "E" (40–44%). Students seeking a higher grade are advised to register during the regular academic session.

Documentation: Evidence of payment must be submitted to both the overseeing committee and respective departments.

Heads of Departments have been mandated to coordinate intensive revisions and ensure that all examinations conform to Senate-approved standards. All results, alongside copies of registration forms and receipts, are to be submitted to the Timetable and Examination Office upon completion of the program.

The University management urges all concerned students to comply with the registration deadline, as no extensions were indicated in the current directive.
