The Federal Polytechnic, Daura, has announced the commencement of admission into its National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) training programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by the School of Vocational Education, Skills and Professional Development (SVESPD), which explained that the programme is aimed at equipping youths and women with practical, industry-relevant skills to enhance self-reliance, employability, and economic productivity.

According to the polytechnic, the NSQF training offers hands-on vocational education across several skill areas critical to national development. The available trades under the programme include Building and Masonry, Carpentry and Joinery, Electrical Installation, Welding and Fabrication, Garment Making, Leather Work, and ICT/Office Practice.

Application forms for the programme are obtainable at the School of Vocational Education, Skills and Professional Development (SVESPD), Zango Road, Daura, at the cost of ₦2,000, while the approved training fee is ₦20,000.
