Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny Announces Resumption and Registration for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Management of Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, has announced the procedures leading to the resumption of academic activities for the 2025/2026 academic session on the 5th of January, 2026.

All returning students who are yet to be captured at the Polytechnic Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC) are encouraged to visit the ICT Center immediately for their Biometric while students that have been captured at the Center should start payment of fees, using the details on the mails sent to them.

Accordingly, prospective students of the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny Island who have printed their Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (Jamb) Admissions Letter are by this notice informed that online Registration, physical verification and clearance for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Students (regular) have long commenced. In the light of the above information, they are required to proceed and create account with the Polytechnic website on www.fedpolybonny.edu.ng , which would be considered and approve by the admissions Officer to enable Prospective Students pay non refundable fee for acceptance online.

Immediately after payment of acceptance fee, Candidates are expected to take the printed receipt of payment to Bursary for confirmation and stamping, then, take a photocopy to admissions Office for collection of application for admission and acceptance forms to aid them in the physical verification, after filling and submission of the forms with originals of the following documents for citing.

1. O' level Certificate/Statement for those who have written west African examination. National examination etc between the same year.

2. Local Government Identification Letter

3. Birth Certificates/ Age Declaration.

After conclusion of the Physical Verification, successful students list would be forwarded to the Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC) for approval and payment of school fee, accommodation fee for interested students who want to stay in the Polytechnic Accommodation. When school fee payment is concluded online, all categories of students are to visit the Bursary for confirmation and stamping. Then, new students would move to admissions office for collection of other forms which enables them go to the following Departments and Units for clearance after meeting their Conditions.

1. Polytechnic Medical Center. 

2. Library and Information Center.

4. Magistrate Court to sign undertaken of good conduct.

After concluding the internal clearance, students are expected to produce five sets of the approved documents herein attached with files and submit in the following Offices captured below;

Please note that part time students are to contact the Dean and School Officer, School of Continuing Education for approvals and further directives as Lectures begins on the 5th of January 2026 for all categories of students mentioned above
