The alliance seeks to broaden academic opportunities, strengthen institutional capacity, and equip students for leadership roles in Nigeria’s evolving economy.
The partnership proposal was formally presented on Monday, 9th February 2026, when Dr. Chioma Irene Anwuzie, Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, Vice-Chancellor of UNIZIK, at the Vice-Chancellor’s office.

He called on Prof. Angela Ufele, Director of Academic Planning, and Prof. P.V.C. Okoye, Director of the UNIZIK Business School, to detail the university’s requirements for affiliation. He assured the Polytechnic that requests meeting the outlined standards would receive prompt consideration and approval.

Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, Registrar of UNIZIK, was also present to formally receive the visiting delegation.
