Federal University of Education, Zaria Issues Tuition Fee Refund Procedure for Nelfund Beneficiaries

The Scholarship Unit of the Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUE), has released a formal update and procedure for NCE and Undergraduate students who are Nelfund beneficiaries seeking a tuition fee refund. 

Affected students are required to follow a six-step process to facilitate their refund:

Verify Listing: Confirm the specific batch and list where your name appears and note your corresponding serial number.

Obtain Receipt: Proceed to the Bursary Unit to collect an official receipt.

Collect Letter Format: Obtain the standardized letter of refund format from the Scholarship Unit.

Attach Documents: Attach the two necessary receipts (presumably payment receipts and the Bursary receipt) to the refund letter.

Submit Documentation: Take the complete set of documents to the Academic office. Students must ensure the documents are placed in their personal file and forwarded to the Desk Officer’s Office for official recommendations and onward submission to the relevant authority.

Important Note: The Scholarship Unit emphasizes the importance of accuracy in the application. Students must ensure the refund letter is written correctly and that bank account details are captured clearly to prevent processing delays.

Additionally, students who applied previously and have yet to be contacted are advised to visit the scholarship unit to check their files and make any necessary corrections to their application letters.
