The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University Dutse (FUDutse) has announced the formation of a New Students Registration Task Force Committee to oversee the 2025/2026 registration and screening exercise.

The committee, according to a statement released on Monday, 1 December 2025, will operate from a central location on campus, providing newly admitted students with guidance, clear instructions, and support throughout the registration process.

The SUG emphasized that all services offered during the registration period are entirely free and cautioned students against paying anyone claiming to facilitate registration.

To support students arriving from distant locations, the union has arranged temporary accommodation to ensure no student is stranded and to provide a safe and convenient environment as they complete registration.

Additionally, the SUG advised students to:

  • Rely only on verified information from the university or SUG.
  • Keep personal belongings secure.
  • Avoid handing over documents to unauthorized individuals.
  • Report any suspicious activity to designated SUG hotlines.

SUG President, Comrade Isah Ibrahim, reaffirmed the union’s commitment to ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-coordinated registration process for all new students.
