FUOYE Reschedules Vocational Skills Practical Sessions for 100 and 200 Level Students

 The Directorate of Educational Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DETIE) at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has announced a rescheduling of the Vocational Skills Development Practical Sessions for all 100 and 200-level students.

In an internal memorandum dated February 10, 2026, the Director of DETIE, Mr. Olarewaju P. Ogunjobi, stated that the adjustment was necessary to avoid a conflict with the ongoing first-semester examinations in various faculties.

The practical sessions, which were originally slated for earlier dates, will now take place as follows:

Dates: Wednesday, 25th & Thursday, 26th February 2026

Time: 8:30 a.m. Daily

Venues:

Entrepreneurship Centre, Oye: For students based at the Oye Campus.

Entrepreneurship Centre, Ikole: For students based at the Ikole Campus.

The Directorate emphasized the critical importance of these sessions, noting that the practical component accounts for 40% of the total grade for the following courses:

ENT 101: Introduction to Entrepreneurship (for 100-level students).

ENT 211: Entrepreneurship and Innovation (for 200-level students).

Due to the significant academic weight, attendance is strictly compulsory. The university warned that failure to attend will result in appropriate academic sanctions in accordance with university regulations.

All Heads of Departments, relevant lecturers, and students are urged to take note of these new dates to ensure full compliance and a hitch-free training exercise.
