Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), through its Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIED), has commenced a 5-day Train-The-Trainer Entrepreneurship Workshop focused on "Commercial Horticulture and Landscaping."

The workshop aims to equip students with essential skills in horticulture and landscaping, promoting self-employment and job creation. Two students were selected from each department, ensuring a diverse representation of participants. The Students Union Government (SUG) actively participated, with SUG Speaker Rt. Hon. Raji Abdullahi Muhammad overseeing the proceedings.

Day 1 Highlights:

The workshop kicked off at IBB Guest House in Minna, featuring lectures and practical guidance on commercial horticulture and landscaping. The program also emphasized gender equality and ethical practices in the industry. Students from outside Niger State were invited, reflecting the workshop's inclusive approach. Following the lectures, participants engaged in a field trip that allowed them to observe practical applications of the concepts learned. This experience aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, enhancing the learning process.

To ensure participants' comfort and accessibility, CIED provided:

- Accommodation arrangements for those coming from outside Minna.
