Admission Requirements for Part-Time Programmes
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB obtained in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Three of the five subjects must be relevant to the candidate’s chosen course.
- Candidate must be 26 years and above.
Admission Requirements for Direct Entry
- Candidate must possess an OND or HND certificate from a recognized Polytechnic or Institution, or a recognized Professional Accounting Body (e.g. ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or any other). This applies to accounting candidates only.
- Completion or exemption from NYSC where applicable.
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Transcript for HND holders.

Method of Application
- Visit the University website: www.iaue.edu.ng
- On the ADMISSION menu, click “Centre for Continuing Education.”
- Click on “2025/2026 Part-Time Registration.”
- Fill in your Surname, First Name, Phone Number, valid email address, and click Register.
- An email containing login details will be sent to your registered email.
- Your login details will also be displayed on the page.
- The system also displays generated Registration and Prospectus Fees.
- Click on Sign-in, then enter your username and password.
- Change your password as prompted and save it for future use.
- Click on the Pay Button for generated fees, then create an invoice.
- Confirm your invoice and click Proceed to pay.
- After payment, click on “Update Registration Form” to update all fields and submit.
- Click on “Upload Document” to upload required documents (WAEC & others).
- Print your Registration Slip, then proceed to the CCE office for stamping/confirmation.
- Completed forms should be returned to the CCE not later than October 4, 2025, with copies of credentials.
Important Notes
- Registration is online, and candidates can apply from any location.
- Applicants must save their login details, as these remain the access credentials to their profile in the portal.
