The Kwara State University KWASU Gets NUC Full Accreditation in (12) Twelve Academic Programmes, according to information made available to MYSCHOOLNEWS, Revealed that the 12 Programmes which received accreditation from NUC are;  are Arabic Language and Literature, Christian Studies, Islamic Studies, History and International Studies, Library and Information Science, Special Education, and Human Kinetics, the others are Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics. NUC Re-accredits 12 KWASU Programmes.

Kwara State University, Malete has received a hundred per cent pass mark from the National Universities Commission NUC on the twelve programmes presented for re-accreditation in the 2022 November/December round of accreditation exercise.

Notice of the re-accreditation success which was dated March 9, 2023 and addressed to the Visitor to the University and Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was signed by the Deputy Director, Programme Accreditation of the NUC, Architect S.S. Ikani.

The re-accredited programmes are Arabic Language and Literature, Christian Studies, Islamic Studies, History and International Studies, Library and Information Science, Special Education, and Human Kinetics.

The others are Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics.

Reacting to the result, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh expressed elation at the success the institution achieved which was based on the quality of instruction and facility in the University.

He described the result as a true appraisal of the effort and commitment put in by all stakeholders and congratulated all staff and students of the University for yet another feat.

Professor Jimoh added that as the institution continues to make giant strides in different areas, the expectations of the society will increase.

He therefore urged all stakeholders to redouble their efforts and achieve even more success that would enhance the development of the State.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor also congratulated the Visitor and Governor of the State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Commissioner of Tertiary Education, Dr. Afees Abolore for the success, adding that their commitment to the institution continues to pay off.
