Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has released detailed instructions for students regarding the conduct and ethics of Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and non-CBT examinations.

  1. CBT examinations will be conducted strictly according to batching by Matriculation numbers and scheduled time.
  2. Students who fail to write their exams during their assigned batch will not be permitted to retake them.
  3. All students must arrive at the examination venue at least 15 minutes before the start time.
  4. Loitering, waiting, or sitting around examination centres is strictly prohibited.
  5. Students must queue for examinations and leave the examination centre immediately upon completion.
  6. The following items are prohibited in the exam hall: mobile phones, smart watches, face caps, and any other objects that could implicate students in malpractice.
  7. Students are required to adhere strictly to the University’s dress code. Prohibited attire includes:
    • Palm slippers
    • Torn, crazy, or tattered jeans
    • Transparent or skimpy clothing
    • Micro dresses
    • Backless clothing
    • Hair plating or weaving for male students
    • Unconventional wearing of face caps
    • Earrings on male students
    • Any other indecent dressing

Students are expected to comply fully with these regulations to ensure a smooth and ethical examination process.
