MSSN Tutorial Class Transforms New Students' Academic Journey at UDUS

Like many new students, she struggled with the rigorous demands of her courses, particularly in calculations.
However, a turning point came when Fatimoh discovered a group message on WhatsApp inviting all 100-level students to attend tutorial classes organized by the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at UDUS.
Expressing her gratitude, Fatimoh highlighted the tutorial's impact on her academic path. "It's been a great assistance in understanding what I find challenging in class," she remarked, emphasizing how the sessions helped her overcome academic hurdles.

Abdul Mustapha, another 100-level student from the Department of Physics, echoed similar sentiments. "Mathematics has always been difficult for me, but the tutorial classes have helped me settle in," Abdul noted, underscoring the class's role in boosting his confidence and understanding.
A visit by PEN PRESS on Monday, April 29, to one of MSSN's tutorial sessions at A133 lecture hall revealed a vibrant atmosphere. The hall was packed with enthusiastic 100-level students eager to grasp complex mathematical concepts and clarify doubts with the help of MSSN tutors.
Muhammad Sanni, a student of Physical and Computing Science, praised the tutors for their effectiveness in simplifying difficult concepts. "The tutors played a crucial role in making the sessions productive," he acknowledged, crediting MSSN for bridging gaps in student learning.

Aminu Sani Uba, MSSN Deputy Ameer Planning and Education Chairman, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and highlighted MSSN's commitment to supporting students academically. "Our goal is to ensure students excel in their studies by providing them with the necessary support," Uba affirmed, noting the association's dedication to fostering academic success among UDUS students.
While appreciating the students who actively participated, Uba encouraged broader engagement from students in faculties such as Arts, Social Sciences, and Management Sciences to benefit from the tutorial initiative.
The MSSN tutorial classes continue to serve as a beacon of academic support for new students at UDUS, empowering them to navigate their academic challenges with confidence and resilience.
