This gesture, part of the cooperative’s ongoing effort to support university management, was praised as a significant step toward enhancing service delivery and operational standards.

Representing Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Dr. Halima Aliyu Doma-Kutigi commended the cooperative for its strong sense of corporate social responsibility. She highlighted the donation’s potential to improve efficiency at the clinic and school, urging beneficiaries to utilize the equipment effectively to maximize its impact.
The President of the NSUK Health Cooperative Society, Mr. Thomas Akwaden, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting both its members and the wider university community. He outlined the cooperative’s comprehensive benefits, including annual profit distribution, financial advisory services, loan facilities, retirement planning seminars, and the presentation of the Cooperative Financial Report (C.F.R.), underscoring its multifaceted support system.

In a gesture of gratitude, Dr. Ibrahim Madaki, Director of University Health Services, thanked the university management for its backing and praised the cooperative for its transformative contributions. He noted the positive influence on members and the institution, offering prayers for the society’s continued success and divine guidance.
The event concluded with the presentation of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) souvenir to the Vice-Chancellor, a formal handover of the donated equipment, and a group photograph, marking a day of collaboration and community support, as reported by the Nasarawa State University Information and Protocol Unit.
