Eligibility Criteria for Doctorate Degree Programs:

1. Master’s Degree Holders: Candidates who have obtained a Master’s degree from Renaissance University or any other recognized institution, appropriate to their proposed area of study, are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program.

2. GPA Requirements:

  • For most Departments, a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale or 3.0 on a 4-point scale is required for admission.
  • For specific Departments and Faculties, including Music, Economics, Public Administration and Local Government, Psychology, and the Faculties of Education, Medical Sciences, Health Sciences and Technology, and Business Administration, a higher minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale is required.

3. Alternative Qualifications: Candidates who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale or a B (60%) average in their Master’s degree program, provided that satisfactory research work was a component of their Master’s program, may also be considered.
