Established in 2009 by the Living Word Ministries, Rhema University has steadily grown, admitting its first batch of students in 2010 and producing seven sets of graduates to date. Prof. Onwudike, a former Vice-Chancellor of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, urged the federal government to extend support from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) to private universities. This, he believes, would further enhance the quality of education provided by these institutions.
