Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa (UNIZIK), proudly announces the emergence of 29 first-class graduates during its recent convocation ceremony for the 2022/2023 academic year. The institution's Vice-Chancellor, Charles Esimone, revealed this significant achievement alongside the conferral of degrees upon 7,091 undergraduates, 96 postgraduate diploma recipients, 391 master's degree awardees, and 251 doctorate degree holders.

Esimone, marking the conclusion of his tenure, reflected on his stewardship, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of UNIZIK's system. He expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their support in realizing the institution's goals, particularly highlighting the decentralization of admission processes and matriculation ceremonies to faculties as a pivotal administrative reform.

This publication promises to encapsulate his transformative leadership journey, focusing on initiatives aimed at fostering constructive town-and-gown relationships and addressing societal challenges.
