The Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, Directorate of Degree Programme has released official instructions for all qualified 300 and 400-level Teaching Practice (TP) students for the 2025/2026 session.

The Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, Directorate of Degree Programme has released official instructions for all qualified 300 and 400-level Teaching Practice (TP) students for the 2025/2026 session.

All students whose names appear on the shortlisted lists must follow the steps below to secure their posting letters.

Steps for Teaching Practice Posting

  1. Fee Payment & Course Registration

    • Complete your school fees payment and course registration at the ICT Centre.
  2. Teaching Practice Fee Payment

    • Pay the approved TP fee of ₦10,000.00 into the designated operations account:
      • Account Name: AKS College of Education Operations Account
      • Account No: 1001173160
      • Bank: Keystone Bank
  3. Receipt Conversion

    • Take your bank teller to the Bursary Department to exchange it for an official receipt.
  4. Directorate Clearance

    RECOMMENDED FOR YOU: Usmanu Danfodiyo University Mourns Death of Final-Year Student, Ibrahim Abdullahi Barafi

    • Present the following documents at the Directorate of Degree for signing and stamping:
      • School Fee Receipt
      • Teaching Practice Fee Receipt
      • Clearance Form from the Students’ Affairs Division
  5. Collection of Posting Letter

    • Take your stamped Directorate Clearance Card to the Teaching Practice Unit to collect your official posting letter.

Important Notice:

  • All payments and procedures must be completed on or before 26th January, 2026.
  • No student will be posted without presenting formal clearance from the Bursary Department.
  • Students are advised to act promptly to avoid delays in placement.
