Azman University to Host Virtual E-Learning Week

Azman University (AU), Kano, will host its E-Learning Week from November 18 to 22, 2024, with all lectures and academic activities taking place virtually. This initiative is part of the university's commitment to innovation and the integration of technology into education.
The week-long event aims to foster the use of information and communications technology (ICT) for modern teaching and learning, allowing students to engage in academic activities seamlessly from home. During this period, students are encouraged to remain at home if they wish, as all lectures and academic sessions will be conducted online.
Aminu Lawal Ibrahim, the Registrar of Azman University, emphasized that the E-Learning Week is an opportunity for both students and staff to deepen their technological skills. The Department of Information and Communication Technology will provide training sessions for staff and students to enhance their digital capabilities.
Prof. Fatima Batul Mukhtar, the Vice-Chancellor of Azman University, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to driving innovation in education. She urged students to remain dedicated to their studies, stressing that there would be no physical make-up for any missed academic activities during the week.
