The Benue State Police Command has paraded 12 suspects for various crimes, including kidnapping, robbery, and gun manufacturing. Among the suspects were three individuals believed to be responsible for the killing of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member named Irene Chioma Emmanuel.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Adesina, the corps member was fatally shot while attempting to protect her laptop from being stolen. The suspects confessed to their involvement in the robbery and subsequent killing of the corps member.

Furthermore, the police apprehended blacksmiths Precious Ebuka Chukwu, Tyav Wuese, and Tyav Terkuma from Adikpo, Kwande LGA, who specialized in fabricating guns.

Commissioner Adesina urged the public to provide useful information to aid in the apprehension of criminals. All suspects will be charged in court following the completion of the investigation.
