In a remarkable display of philanthropy, the Chinedu Ogah Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to educational empowerment, has disbursed over sixteen million naira to facilitate the registration of one thousand and seven indigent candidates for the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations in Ebonyi State.

The Ebonyi State Controller of WAEC, Mrs. Gloria Mgbike, and the State Coordinator of JAMB, Mrs. Doris Enoch, confirmed the receipt of the funds during a ceremony held at Girls High School, Agubia, in the Ikwo local government area of the state. They expressed their gratitude to Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, the founder of the foundation, for his unwavering commitment to the educational development of the state.

Mrs. Mgbike revealed that over N13 million was allocated for the registration of 507 WAEC candidates, while Mrs. Enoch disclosed that N3.8 million was dedicated to the registration of 500 JAMB candidates. Both officials commended Hon. Chinedu Ogah for his generous contribution towards alleviating the financial burden faced by underprivileged students in accessing quality education.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation, a representative emphasized the importance of education as a tool for socioeconomic empowerment and pledged to continue supporting disadvantaged students in their academic pursuits.
