EBSU Student Union Government Cracks Down on Unauthorized Keke Fare Hikes, Implements Official Rates

In an important development at Ebonyi State University (EBSU), the Student Union Government (SUG) President has issued a stern notice regarding unauthorized fare adjustments within the campus community.

According to the SUG President's office, they were notified of an unauthorized fare increase by the Chairman of the EBSU Keke Union, raising fares to N500. This surge in prices, significantly higher than the previously agreed rates, was executed without any consultation with the SUG, university management, or the Office of the Dean of Students' Affairs.
