The Federal Ministry of Education has commenced a computer-based test (CBT) to appoint new principals for Unity Schools across the country. A total of 293 candidates have been shortlisted for the competency-based exam, aimed at filling vacancies left by principals who have completed their six-year tenure.

Hajia Binta Abdulkadir highlighted the importance of the CBT in ensuring that the best candidates are selected to maintain high educational standards. Udu Ali Lawrence, who oversaw the process, emphasized that the exam assesses leadership, management, and teaching skills in line with global standards.
