FULAFIA Hosts Hosts 2nd Departmental Academic Forum
The Federal University of Lafia's Department of Economics is organizing a forum to explore the importance of student-lecturer relationships in achieving academic excellence.
The Department of Economics at the Federal University of Lafia is set to hold its 2nd Departmental Academic Forum, themed "Student and Lecturer Relationship: A Guide for Academic Excellence." The event will take place on Thursday, 15th August 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at LHO3, Mallam Adamu Adamu Complex.

Dr. Walter O. Ugwuoke, the Head of the Department of Economics, will host the event, which aims to foster stronger relationships between students and lecturers as a key to achieving academic excellence. Dr. Freeman Aye-Agele, a Senior Lecturer in the Department, will serve as the presenter for the forum, offering insights and guidance on how students can effectively engage with their lecturers to maximize their academic potential.

The Chairman of the occasion will be Prof. Ilemona Adofu, the Director of Academic Planning at the Federal University of Lafia, who will provide the closing remarks and additional perspectives on the importance of collaboration between students and faculty in higher education.
