NSUK Mandates Registration Renewal for Campus Organizations to Curb Illegal Operations

The Students' Affairs Division of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has officially directed all student organizations, including clubs, associations, unions, and societies, to renew their registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The directive, issued via an internal memo dated February 9, 2026, by the Senior Executive Officer, Salisu Laraba, is a proactive measure intended to prevent "illegal operations" on campus and ensure all student bodies are properly documented.

To maintain their official status, heads of these organizations are required to submit both digital and physical copies of the following documents:

Certificate of Registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.

All relevant documents must be submitted to the Senior Executive Officer on or before Monday, April 27, 2026.

The University management emphasized that compliance is mandatory. Organizations that fail to meet the required submission deadline risk being removed from the Student's Affairs portal, effectively losing their recognition and rights to operate within the university premises.

The memo was copied to the Registrar, the Dean, and the Students Affairs Officer to ensure full administrative oversight of the registration exercise.
