FUNAAB Empowers Staff and Students Through TETFund Entrepreneurship Training

The programme, organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CENTS), aimed to equip participants with essential entrepreneurial skills to foster economic resilience and address unemployment.
During the closing ceremony, Prof. Emily Ayo-John, Director of CENTS, representing Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, underscored the importance of entrepreneurship in promoting sustainable development. Prof. Ayo-John encouraged participants to apply their newfound skills to make a positive impact in society and enhance their income, noting the significance of such training in today’s economic landscape.
Commending the initiative, Prof. Kehinde urged participants to explore additional training opportunities at CENTS to further their professional growth. He highlighted the programme's role in preparing FUNAAB staff and students to meet economic challenges and create innovative solutions.
Speaking on behalf of the participants, Mr. Charles Geteloma, Assistant Director of Graphics at the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources, and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR), expressed gratitude to the university management for organizing the training. He advocated for more initiatives to expand entrepreneurial learning within the institution.
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates to participants, reinforcing FUNAAB’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development across its community.
