In preparation for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination at Kogi State Polytechnic, students have been urged to adhere to critical guidelines for a smooth examination process. A memo addressed to all students highlighted key details for the examination which already commenced on Monday, July 8th, 2024. 

Students are required to arrive at the holding area at least 45 minutes before their scheduled exam time to facilitate an orderly start. It is emphasized that adherence to allocated exam schedules is mandatory, with no provisions for rescheduling missed slots.

Traveling students are advised to plan their journeys to arrive at least one day before the examination date to avoid any last-minute complications.

Spill-over students must ensure their payment receipts for the 2023/2024 Academic Session are verified by the Information Technology and Resource Centre (ITRC) before proceeding to the CBT Centre.

The memo also stressed the requirement for a valid identity card and Signed Docket for entry into the examination venue. Students awaiting ID card issuance should obtain clearance from the Directorate of Student Services (DSS) prior to the exam to avoid any issues.

Director Ezekiel Rock reiterated the severity of attempting impersonation during the examination, warning of severe legal consequences including imprisonment.

Furthermore, adherence to the Polytechnic's dress code guidelines was underscored as essential to avoiding any disruptions during the examination.

Registration with either the School of General and Communication Studies or the Directorate of Entrepreneurship is mandatory for carryover students before accessing the examination.

Students were encouraged to prepare adequately and follow all provided instructions for the smooth and successful conduct of the CBT Examination.
