KWASU Announces Temporary Relocation of Staff and Students

Kwara State University (KWASU) has announced the temporary relocation of staff and students from its Ilesha-Baruba Campus to the Malete campus as a precautionary security measure.

The move is aimed at ensuring the safety of students and staff as the year winds down. The 13th Convocation Ceremony is scheduled to take place from December 9, with the Ilesha-Baruba community participating. Students will proceed on mid-semester break after the ceremony, resuming in January.

The university had previously faced security concerns in the Ilesha-Baruba area, with the National Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS) raising concerns over the safety of students.
