No going back on quality education for Nigerians — FG

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration has reiterated its unwavering commitment to providing quality education for Nigerians as part of its renewed hope agenda. The President, represented by the Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Rt Honourable Zaphaniah Jisalo, emphasized that education remains a cornerstone of his government's vision.

In a statement by Musa Wada, special adviser to the Minister on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu expressed the government's dedication to hastening the delivery of quality education. He underscored the importance of prioritizing technological-based learning resources, administrative standards, and quality improvement to achieve this objective.

This approach encourages universities to source funds through grants and corporate sponsorships, aiming to foster self-sustainability and reduce dependency on the Federal Government.

Rt Honourable Jisalo stated, "By granting financial autonomy, institutions can effectively manage funds to enhance competitiveness, strive for excellence in education, and eradicate educational disruption caused by strikes, and let me emphasize that this administration is resolute in its dedication to reforming the nation's educational sector."
