NUESA-UDUS Sets to Hold Annual Day

The Nigerian Universities Education Students’ Association (NUESA), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) chapter, under the leadership of Comrade Lawal Adamu Faskari is set to hold its annual day on Saturday, 12th of October, 2024. 

The occasion aims to honor the final-year students and acknowledge the outgoing NUESA executives for their dedication and commitment to the association. Additionally, the highlights of the event include: Interdepartmental debate competition, lecture presentation, awards presentation, certification of the outgoing executives as a recognition of their leadership and services.

In an interview with the NUESA president, Comrade Adamu, stated that the purpose of organizing the event is to mark the achievement of reaching this milestone despite the challenges faced over the years, including the global pandemic and prolonged strikes. He emphasized that this moment calls for a celebration as students have persevered and made it to the peak of over 4 years of academic journey.

“All students, especially the graduating class, are expected to attend, as the event promised to be interesting and will host distinguished guests, including prominent figures such as: Dean of Faculty of Education and Extension Services, Prof M.A Yushau; Mallam A.K Tsafe, Dr. Nurabawa, and other staff who will deliver lectures,” he concluded.
