OGITECH Celebrates 20th Matriculation; Inducts 5,551 Students into Nigeria’s "Silicon Valley

The Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, has formally admitted 5,551 students into its academic fold for the 2025/2026 session. The landmark 20th Matriculation Ceremony, held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, reinforced the institution's reputation as a premier hub for technological innovation.

In his keynote address, the Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, described the ceremony as a significant transition for the new intake. He urged the matriculants to mirror the institute's core values, emphasizing that success is a product of both academic rigor and exemplary character.

"Uphold discipline, adhere strictly to the institution’s rules, and embrace the values of learning," Dr. Oluseye advised, further encouraging students to balance their studies with positive extracurricular engagement.

Representing the Chairman of the Governing Council, Chief Ayotunde Ola Odulaja, Evang. Kehinde Akinsoji lauded the current management team. He noted that under Dr. Oluseye’s leadership, OGITECH has successfully strengthened its standing as a center of excellence and technological advancement.
