Qualifications and Experience
Professor
- Ph.D. or fellowship (for College of Medicine) in the relevant field with at least 12 years of teaching and research experience.
- Proven research, supervisory, and administrative skills, with publications in reputable national and international journals.
- Knowledge of university system operations; should hold the rank of Reader/Associate Professor.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. or fellowship (for College of Medicine) with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Independent research capability, supervisory and administrative skills, and scholarly publications.
- Should hold the rank of Senior Lecturer.
Senior Lecturer
- Ph.D. or fellowship (for College of Medicine) with at least 7 years of cognate experience.
- Ability to conduct independent research and publish in reputable journals.
- Should hold the rank of Lecturer I.
Lecturer I
- Master’s Degree, MBBS, B.Pharm, or Pharm D. with at least 5 years of cognate experience.
- Ability to carry out research; membership in a professional body is an advantage.
Lecturer II
- Master’s Degree with at least 3 years teaching/research experience.
- Professional body membership is an added advantage.
Assistant Lecturer
- Master’s Degree with at least 1 year teaching/research experience.
- Membership of a professional body where applicable.
Confidential Secretary I
- Minimum of 4 O’level credits including English Language and a first Degree or HND in Secretarial Studies.
- Evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption.
