Professor Abu Kasim Adamu, Vice Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), has called on students preparing for Industrial Training to exemplify the values and integrity of their institution. Professor Adamu, represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration, Professor Hassan Ibrahim, delivered this message during an orientation workshop held at the university's main campus in Lapai.

Professor Adamu emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of conduct and professionalism while on industrial placement. His remarks underscored the university's commitment to ensuring that students represent IBBUL with distinction.

The workshop featured several key speakers. Professor Ishaku Ma'ali, Director of SIWES (Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme) at IBBUL, advised students to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of their respective placement sites. His guidance aimed at helping students navigate their industrial training effectively.

Mr. Gideon Garba Dada, Head of Training at the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Minna Area Office, spoke on behalf of ITF Director-General Dr. Aziz Ogun Oluwatoyin. Mr. Dada highlighted the crucial role of the SIWES program in linking theoretical knowledge with practical experience, emphasizing its significance for students' professional development.

Additional insights were provided by Mr. Danladi Ige, the SIWES Accountant, and Engr. Umar Haliru, SIWES Schedule Officer II. Both presenters offered a detailed overview of the proper procedures for documenting SIWES forms and other related paperwork, ensuring students are well-prepared for their assignments.

The Registrar, Alhaji Idris Saleh Kusherki, represented by Deputy Registrar (Legal), Barrister Sani Hassan Ndaliman, extended gratitude to the Industrial Training Fund for its ongoing support in organizing such essential orientation workshops.
