This decision, reached at the 65th Statutory Meeting of Council, aims to facilitate the advancement of alumni and encourage their participation in the university's postgraduate offerings.
In an announcement by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. Olukayode Akindele, the decision reflects the council's commitment to supporting alumni and fostering their continued engagement with the institution. Mr. Olufemi Bellos, Senior Alumni Relations Officer, commended the council for its proactive approach, emphasizing the importance of alumni feeling valued and appreciated by the university. He expressed optimism that this initiative would encourage more alumni to enroll in postgraduate programs and contribute to the university's development.
