Skyline University Nigeria successfully concluded its Professional Skills Development Program (PSDP) for undergraduate students of the 2024/2025 academic session.

Skyline University Nigeria has successfully wrapped up its Professional Skills Development Program (PSDP) for undergraduate students of the 2024/2025 academic session. The program, organized by the Student Services Department, ran from March 17 to March 21, 2025, and aimed to equip students with vital skills for academic and career success.
The week-long initiative featured interactive sessions covering career planning, leadership and management, time management, teamwork, networking, and professional relationship building. These topics provided students with practical tools to develop strategic approaches to both their studies and professional aspirations.
A key highlight of the program was the session on E-fraud and Cyber Crime: A Legal and Social Perspective, which underscored the importance of cybersecurity awareness. Other sessions, such as Ethical Practices and Social Responsibility and The Leadership Compass: Value and Professional Ethics, reinforced integrity and professionalism in career settings. Additionally, Interpersonal Skills training helped students enhance their communication and collaboration abilities.
The PSDP also emphasized cognitive and creative skills, introducing students to Design Thinking and Lateral Thinking Skills to promote innovative problem-solving. Sessions on Building Learning Capacity: Dyslexia and Legal Education provided insights into inclusive education and learning strategies. Furthermore, the program refined students’ presentation skills, ensuring they could confidently express their ideas in academic and professional environments.
By the end of the training, participants had gained a well-rounded understanding of essential professional skills, positioning them for both academic and career excellence.
