UNIBEN Opens Portal for Payment of School Charges for Newly Admitted Students
The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City, has officially opened its redesigned payment portal for all newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session, including 100-level freshmen and 200-level Direct Entry candidates.

The University emphasized that only the approved UNIBEN payment portal should be used for all school charge transactions. It reassured students, parents, and guardians that there has been no increase in school fees, maintaining the same structure as previous academic sessions.

To complete payment, new students are required to follow these steps:
- Visit portal.uniben.edu and click on the Login Menu.
- Log in using your User ID (Student ID) and Password.
- Navigate to the PAYMENT Menu, then select SCHOOL CHARGES under Payment Type.
- Click PROCESS PAYMENT.
- Follow the REMITA instructions to finalize the transaction.
