UNILAG Issues Fresh Notice on ID Card Upload and Re-Upload

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has directed all students who uploaded or re-uploaded their details on the University ID Card portal between Wednesday, August 20, and the morning of Friday, August 22, 2025, to re-upload a clear passport photograph and signature via https://studentid.unilag.edu.ng.
Students are required to confirm that both their passport photograph and signature are correctly displayed before submitting. The deadline for submission is Sunday, August 31, 2025, by 11:59 p.m.
The university further advised students who are yet to upload their passport photographs and signatures at all to seize this opportunity to do so.
Eligible Categories
- Newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
- Students in Year 2, 3, 4, or 5 who have not collected their ID cards and have officially written to the Academic Affairs Unit.
- Students with lost or misplaced ID cards, provided they have submitted proof of payment for replacement along with a valid Police Report.
Important Observations
- Some previously uploaded photographs were taken against a non-white background, which makes them invalid for ID card printing. Students must therefore upload a passport photograph with a white background and a clear signature to ensure validity.
- The final deadline remains 11:59 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2025.
