UNILORIN Postgraduate Transcript/Verification/English Proficiency
The University of Ilorin has streamlined the process for obtaining postgraduate academic transcripts, verification, and English proficiency. This blog post will provide a step-by-step guide for students and officials to follow in order to successfully access these services.
Postgraduate Applications: Academic Transcript/Verification/English Proficiency
Whether you’re an aspiring postgraduate student or an official requiring these services, UNILORIN has set forth a transparent and efficient process. Here’s how to proceed:
1. Payment Procedure
A payment of N10,000.00 per transcript is required. This payment is subject to change and should be made online via REMITA.
2. Verification Procedure
For verification services, there’s a total fee of N7,000.00 broken down as follows:
i) N5,000.00 paid to the University of Ilorin through REMITA
ii) N2,000.00 to be paid into the PGS Account Number: 1100023347 at Unilorin Microfinance Bank.
3. English Proficiency
Obtaining English Proficiency certification attracts a fee of N5,000.00. This amount should be paid into the PGS Account Number: 1100023347 at Unilorin Microfinance Bank.
4. Application Form Submission
Upon completion of the necessary payments, fill out the transcript application form available here.
5. Courier Services
Information regarding courier services can be found here.
6. Attach Necessary Documents
Once the application form is completed, be sure to attach:
- Payment Receipt generated from Remita
- Payment Receipt generated from Microfinance bank
- Photocopy of the applicant’s certificate
- Evidence of payment to the preferred courier agent
7. Receiving the Official Academic Transcript
The official academic transcript can either be sent online to the indicated official email address or delivered via a courier service or NIPOST to an official address.
8. Receiving Student Copy of Academic Transcript
The student copy of the academic transcript can be collected by hand, courier agent, authorized person, or sent to a valid e-mail address.
9. Authorizing Another Person
If you choose to authorize another person to collect your transcript, a Letter of Authority and a photocopy of a valid ID must be provided.
10. Official Applications and Personal Emails
Personal email addresses are not permitted for official transcript, verification, and English Proficiency applications.
Important Notes
The University typically responds to requests within two (2) weeks of submission. If this is not possible, you will be informed of the progress. Also, UNILORIN will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies provided by the applicant.
