UNIMAID notice on guidelines for hostel application for 2023/2024 session

This is to inform all students who are interested in Hostel accommodation during the forthcoming Academic Session (2023/2024) to take note of the following instructions/guidance towards securing bed spaces in the Students Halls of Residence:

• 1. Only registered students will be eligible for the 2023/2024 Accommodation.
• 2 Booking of bed space will be done strictly online using the UMSTAD App
• 3. All bookings are to be done after obtaining PIN number (Procedure/Date for obtaining PTV number will be announced soon)
• 4. All bookings MUST be done within a specified period of time.
• 5. Booking and allocation of bed space will be on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis.
• 6. All bed space booking and room allocation are to be done STRICTLY by the Division using the E-Accommodation platform-UMSTAD App.
• 7. No 6 above applies to ALL HOSTELS in the University (except PG Hostels)
• 8. No individual has been mandated to book, reserve or collect accommodation fees on behave of the University.
• 9. All monies for accommodation are to paid through officially sanctioned means
• 10. Anyone who pays money to any individual(s) does so at his/her own risk, SO BE WARNED
