Babalola reiterated this ambition during the commencement of a two-day Faculty Advancement and Success Training Series on 'Modern Teaching Methods and Pedagogy', organized by the office of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Smaranda Olarinde.

Addressing reporters, the legal luminary expressed confidence in the caliber of lecturers at the university, lauding them as exceptional educators with unparalleled teaching methodologies.

"My objective is to elevate ABUAD to the ranks of first-class universities, and this goal hinges on the quality of our teaching staff, who are exemplary in their field," Babalola stated.

Sharing insights on effective teaching practices, Babalola emphasized the importance of interactive teaching methods over traditional rote learning. He stressed the need for teachers to possess mastery of their subjects, embrace modern teaching techniques, and engage in continuous research to remain relevant.

In her lecture titled 'Education for National Development: Promoting Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Teaching and Learning', Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, the Secretary to the Government of Oyo State, advocated for the establishment of business and technological incubator hubs to foster collaborative innovation.

Drawing from her experience as the pioneer deputy vice-chancellor (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships) at the University of Ibadan, Adeyemo underscored the importance of innovative teaching methods in nurturing students' creativity and entrepreneurial skills.
