In a bid to prioritize the well-being of schoolchildren, the Anambra State government has directed schools to conclude academic activities by 2:30 p.m. daily. This decision aligns with United Nations (UN) guidelines and aims to ensure that students have ample time for rest and interaction with their families.

The Commissioner for Education in Anambra State, Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, emphasized that Governor Chukwuma Soludo's administration is committed to promoting the holistic development of children. By implementing this directive, students will have the opportunity to recharge and engage in meaningful interactions with their parents before the next day's activities commence.
