The suspension follows the defiance of an existing circular dated April 25, 2025, which suspended all approvals granted to cultivate university farmlands. Crops grown in these areas have been deemed a serious security threat to the university.

The suspension will remain in force until the Committee on Farm Land Allocation, in collaboration with the Maintenance Services Department and Security Division, completes its assignment. The university community is expected to comply with the directive.
