The Registrar of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Malam Nuradeen Abdu, has urged university administrators to embrace technology as a tool for solving complex problems within the academic environment. His call was made during the 10th Annual Training Workshop organized by the Association of Nigeria University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), FULafia Chapter.

The event, which took place at the Faculty of Agriculture Lecture Hall on the university's Permanent Site Campus, saw Malam Abdu, represented by Senior Deputy Registrar Barr. Ignatius Efiom, emphasize the importance of applying ethical standards and acquiring relevant technological skills to enhance performance and service delivery in the university’s administration.

The workshop featured a keynote address by Mrs. Saratu Haruna, Head of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate at FULafia, who stressed the critical role of data management in improving administrative efficiency. She highlighted the benefits of effective data management, including streamlined data retrieval, better distribution, and support for decision-making.

Other speakers at the event included Mr. Monday Adejor, Mr. Ahmed Kasimu, and Mr. Taiwo Oyewande. The program concluded with the presentation of awards to three distinguished individuals—Dr. Mrs. Offiongita Nkang, Mrs. Helen Bello, and Mrs. Florence Chukwuemeka-Ezi—who were recognized for their significant contributions to the university's development.
