This marks the second consecutive year that Greensprings School students have emerged as the overall best in Nigeria at the Conrad Challenge. Nine other teams from the school also received scholarships totaling $6.4 million, with the first runner-up team earning a cash prize of N1 million.

Greensprings School Students Win $7.2 Million Scholarships with Innovative App

Greensprings School students have clinched victory in the Conrad Challenge, securing $7.2 million in scholarships and a cash prize of N2.5 million for their innovative phone application, "Juiceitup."

The winning team, known as "Team Lavendaire," consisting of Idara Attah, Imabong Apkan-Chinyere, and Mirabel Njoku, impressed judges with their app's use of AI algorithms to recommend personalized juice-making ratios aimed at aiding patients' recovery from illnesses.

According to Mr. Afolabi Amusan, Assistant Principal of Enhancement at Greensprings School, the students' success reflects their dedication and the support provided by the school's teachers and mentors. In addition to their cash prize and scholarships, Team Lavendaire will represent Nigeria at the 2024 Conrad World Summit in Houston, USA. The Executive Director of Greensprings, Mrs. Lai Koiki, and the School's Deputy Director of Education, Mrs. Feyisara Ojugo, expressed their pride in the students' accomplishments and commended the efforts of their mentors.
