Admission Requirements

Prospective candidates must have successfully completed the National Diploma (ND) programme in a relevant field, achieving at least a lower second-class pass in their final assessments.

Additionally, candidates must have:

  • Five (5) GCSE passes at Grade C or above in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • Proof of completing a one-year work placement from a recognised institution.

Duration

The programme spans four (4) semesters, equating to two (2) academic years, which includes a practical attachment period.

Certified Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) has sanctioned a refresher course for Pharmacy Technicians who qualified before 2017 from any PCN-accredited College of Health Technology in Nigeria. This is to obtain a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate, which is necessary for direct entry admission into the faculty of pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences at any Nigerian University offering the course.

Remedial Studies

The remedial programme is designed to address deficiencies in O’Level results.

Applications are welcomed from suitable candidates for remedial studies at the college. The aim is to prepare candidates for guaranteed admission into any course of study at the college.

Admission into the College of Health Technology Offa is guaranteed upon successful completion of the remedial programme, provided candidates:

  • Achieve a minimum of 2.0 CGPA from O’Level subjects taken at the college.
  • Address all necessary O’Level deficiencies.
