NOUN Announces Key Updates for 2025/2 Academic Session

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has released a summary of the 2025/2 orientation webinar, highlighting crucial information for students. Key updates include:

Online lectures (facilitation) are set to begin on Monday, August 11, for students who have completed their exam registration.

Students are informed that fill-in-the-gap answers are not case-sensitive, allowing flexibility in their responses.

Posting irrelevant comments or answers in the Discussion Forum will be addressed, with some courses having TMA3 graded based on relevance and accuracy of contributions in Discussion Forum 3. AI-generated answers will be detected.

Forums will only be accessible during and after the assigned week, and students cannot access the next forum unless their facilitator has unlocked it.

The pass mark for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) students is 50% and above, with scores below 50 graded as F.

The Support site and Result Checking features are now fully active, enabling students to access necessary resources and check their results.

Students are advised to use their official NOUN email when contacting the school to avoid emails being treated as spam.
