Plateau State Announces Teaching Vacancies Across Five Local Government Areas
In line with the policy drive of Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang’s administration to enhance the delivery of basic education in Plateau State, the Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), in collaboration with the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has announced the first phase of teaching vacancies in several local government councils.
In line with the policy drive of Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang’s administration to enhance the delivery of basic education in Plateau State, the Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), in collaboration with the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has announced the first phase of teaching vacancies in several local government councils.
The available positions are spread across the following Local Government Areas:
- Kanke
- Mikang
- Barkin Ladi
- Bassa
- Mangu
Vacant Subject Areas:
- Mathematics
- English
- French Language
- Basic Science
- Information Communication and Technology (ICT)
- Physical and Health Technology
- Elements of Entrepreneurship
Qualifications: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Not more than 40 years.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum of National Certificate of Education (NCE) or Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Ed) with at least a Second Class Lower division.
- NYSC Certificate or Exemption Letter (where applicable).
Application Method: Interested candidates should submit a hand-written application letter, along with a recent passport photograph and photocopies of relevant documents. Applications should be addressed to the Acting Executive Chairman, Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board, at No. 7 Dogon Dutse Road, Jos. Alternatively, applications can be submitted at the Local Government Education Authority Secretariat in any of the aforementioned councils.
Deadline: All applications must be received within two weeks from the date of this announcement.
Important Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an aptitude test, with the date to be announced later.
